Dr. Dan Fifield was an old-fashioned country doctor. He took time with each one of his patients and treated them all like family. His sudden and untimely death stunned the community that he served.
His commitment to education was unfailing. Over his years at Wild Rose, he acted as preceptor and mentor to nursing students and medical students alike. He taught them medicine, but he also taught them to respect and care for their patients as human beings.
In an effort to remember Dr. Fifield for the man, the teacher, the mentor that he was, we have established a memorial/scholarship program here at Wild Rose Hospital. His strong encouragement of higher education for all can live on through your donation to the Dan Fifield Memorial Scholarship Program. Download - Dr. Dan Fifield Scholarship Application
